Wildflower Ice - Summer Toddler Activity

In all seriousness, can ICE be more BEAUTIFUL?
Here is a two-part summer activity that is ridiculously easy and loads of fun.

Part 1
1) Head out on a neighborhood walk or even to your own backyard
2) Pick out nature pieces, little flowers, pedals, leaves etc. The kids will love this part
3) Place small pieces into a muffin tin and fill with water
4) Push pedals to the bottom and try your best to make them sink (they will likely want to float which is ok)
5) Freeze

Part 2
6) Pop ice out and add to a sensory bin/water table. You can also add food colouring to the water.

Hurry because on a HOT summer day these ice cubes wont last too long.
