Melted Crayon Hearts - Crafting for Kids

Crayon

How adorable are these CRAYONS!!!
Talk about cuteness overload! I am beyond impressed with how these turned out. After all, it was my first time making these.

Every mom has leftover crayon bits that usually end up in the garbage or vacuum. Here is an activity that involves minimal work and looks super impressive, especially to your children.

You will need:
- Silicone Heart Shaped Mold (You can find this exact one on my Amazon Shop.)
- Crayons in a Variety of Colours
- Colouring Pages (Click here for my free colouring pages)
- Cookie Tray

Instructions:
1) Soak crayons in bowl of warm water for 15-20 minutes.
2) Peal off the paper. It should come off fairly easily. If you have stubborn crayons, simply soak them for a longer period.
3) Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
4) Place crayon pieces in silicon shaped mold and then place the silicone mold on a cookie tray for added support.
5) Place in oven for 15-20 minutes, until all the crayons are melted. Note: keep an eye on your crayons. Once they are fully melted you can remove them from the oven. Time may slightly vary depending on the size of your mold.
6) Once melted, remove from the oven and allow them to fully cool while inside the mold. Approx 45 minutes.
7) Pop them out and you are ready to colour.
8) Download my free colouring pages for added fun!

Enjoy these beautiful crayons and TAG me on Instagram, I would love to see!
